gg.bet eSport Sportsbook betting Review

Overview

GG.Bet is a relatively young operator, having only launched in 2016. What sets GG.Bet aside, however, is that GG.Bet was built specifically to offer eSports betting.

GG.Bet claim to understand eSport enthusiasts and gamers, and our GG.Bet eSports betting review is here to put those claims to the test.

Live eSports Betting

With GG.Bet being built by eSports enthusiasts, live betting and embedded live streams have been a major feature since day 1. All their live streams are provided by Twitch, meaning they tend to be fantastic quality.

The live stream feed gives bettors a leg up when placing bets as they can follow along and make predictions based off of patterns or behaviors they see.

Whether you want to bet on Tfue in the Fortnite World Cup or dip your toe into CS:GO betting, with GG.Bet, you can do it live.

Welcome Offer & Promotions

Unfortunately, GG.Bet do not currently have any active Welcome Offer or promotions, though they have had several in the past and are expected to have more in the future. We hope to see offers such as deposit match bonus, free bets, and the usual eSports betting promotions that are common nowadays.

Payment & Withdrawal

GG.Bet offer a number of different fiat payment options for their users. Skrill, Neteller, Ecopayz, Yandex Money, QiWi, Alipay and Web Money are methods which are available at GGBet. In terms of credit cards, the usual suspects Visa and Mastercard are available so you can bet on League of Legends or place your CS:GO bets, or bet on any other of the available markets at GG.Bet.

Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be any support for cryptocurrencies. After doing a little digging, we noticed that a few older reviews out there mentioned Bitcoin specifically, so we asked their customer service representative about this in Live Chat, who confirmed that it was fiat payments only.

Features

Back in 2016, when the platform was first born, GG.Bet ONLY offered eSports betting. This sets it aside from most of the operators we review, as the vast majority of them had to incorporate eSports betting into their pre-existing betting structure.

GG.Bet was built with eSports as its primary focus, and that is made clear from the get go. As we discuss in more detail below, eSports betting is proudly displayed on their homepage for all to see.

It comes as no surprise, then, that GG.Bet offer their users a wonderful variety of eSports games and events to bet on. Of course, users can bet on massive games like League of Legends, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, and Dota 2. However, GG.Bet also features titles like Overwatch, PUBG, StarCraft II, Fortnite, Rocket League, Warcraft III, Rainbow Six Siege, Call of Duty, Smite, Vainglory, Heroes of the Storm, Halo, NBA2k18, and Would of Tanks. We also found a wonderfully broad selection of gaming events being covered, from grassroots events to World Championships.

In addition to their eSports betting offerings, GG.Bet also have sportsbook, slots, and instant game sections, making them a relatively well-rounded gambling operator.

Odds

No Super eSports Betting review would be complete without a basic odds comparison. Here’s what we found when we put GG.Bet vs. Unibet:

GG.BetUnibet
ex-Zone v Nfinite1.05 – 8.631.04 – 8.50
ALTIMA v Thunder Logic3.68 – 1.253.60 – 1.25
The Quest v Collateral1.1 – 6.151.05 – 8.00

GG.Bet gave us better odds on 4 of 6 instances, with one being the same, and Unibet taking the cake on another. With Unibet being considered by some as an odds leader, GG.Bet gives players above average returns on their wagers.

Betting Markets

GG.Bet’s eSports betting markets number in the dozens! Our GG.Bet esports review found that odds are given on specifics like map winner, first blood and first to ten kills.

As can be seen in the picture below, GG.Bet betting markets are both numerous and varied, giving bettors plenty of options to multiply their wagers.

Player Safety

GG.Bet is operated by Brivio Limited, which is fully Licensed in Cyprus, and all their gambling services are licensed by Invicta Network in Curacao, meaning that GG.Bet is legally obligated to follow practices which secure their users’ data and funds.

They are also a member of ECOGRA, and are McAfee secured, so bettors can rest assured that their data and their money is safe and sound.

GG.bet take their site security and compliance seriously, and as a result only operate in countries where there are 100% licensed and permitted to do so. This is indicative of a broader dedication to fairness and the law, and is a good sign of how seriously they take safety and security.

As a result, users from the following countries will not be able to access GG.bet or their live eSports betting services: Afghanistan, American Samoa, Aruba, Australia, Bonaire, Cyprus, Curacao, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea), Ethiopia, France, Great Britain, Guyana, Guam, Iraq, Iran, Italy, Israel, Netherlands, Laos, Malta, Portugal, Samoa, Saudi Arabia, Saba, Serbia, Singapore, Spain, St. Maarten, St. Eustatius, Syria, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Uganda, United States of America, Vanuatu, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, Ukraine, Yemen

Customer Service

GG.Bet provide their customers with a few different ways to get in touch with them. The most convenient would arguably be the Live Chat option, which is available 24/7.

During our GG.Bet esports review testing, we found it extremely easy to get through to a customer service representative, with responses coming in almost immediately after our initial questions. The longest we had to wait was 47 seconds, which is absolutely no time at all.

GG.Bet also have a UK phone number listed in their footer. During our testing, we managed to get through to a customer service operator in under a minute each time, and found the customer service representatives to be friendly and polite.

A customer service email address is also made available to users, and as with all operators, we recommend that our readers use email for any complicated queries or any issues related to their personal information.

An ‘FAQ’ or ‘Help’ section would be a welcome addition to the site, however with customer service representatives this accessible, it’s an omission we can definitely forgive.

Look & Feel

GG.Bet is unique in that, unlike with many other operators, eSports betting is actually the first thing you see when heading to their homepage. Whereas on most other operators’ sites users need to pick out eSports from a long list of other sports in a sportsbook page, eSport bettors are treated with everything they’re looking for greeting them at the get go.

The color-scheme here is mostly made up of different shades of blues, with pops of color coming from game logos, live markers, and important buttons. GG.Bet does a good job of directing your eyes to the betting, streaming, and deposit buttons, which are the most important things for bettors to find.

GG.Bet don’t have their own proprietary apps, however the site is full mobile optimised, and we were able to fire off bets one-handed with no issues.

Conclusion

Esports professionals and enthusiasts came together to create GG.bet in 2016, and they have since established themselves as leaders in the eSports betting community. They take their customer service and also their ties with the community very seriously.

GG.Bet is a secure, safe, and fun place for eSports betting enthusiasts, and we give them two thumbs up. We definitely recommend GG.bet’s eSports betting offerings for yourself. Click on one of the links above to head there now!
